Endolift for the Abdomen
Skin Tightening

Endolift Abdomen by Dr. Nema
Redefining Your Midsection —
Without Downtime
If you are close to your ideal shape but struggling with loose, lax, or crepey skin around the abdomen, Endolift offers a minimally invasive solution that tightens from within — no scalpel, no general anaesthetic, no weeks of recovery.
As an aesthetic physician, I see this concern constantly: patients who have lost weight, gone through pregnancy, or are simply seeing the natural effects of skin laxity with age, but who aren't candidates for — or don't want — a tummy tuck. Endolift bridges that gap.
What is Endolift?
Endolift is a laser-based procedure that uses a very fine optical fibre, inserted under local anaesthetic through a tiny entry point, to deliver targeted thermal energy beneath the skin. This energy:
-
Stimulates collagen and elastin production, improving skin firmness over the following weeks
-
Causes immediate tissue contraction, tightening lax skin
-
Can help reduce small, stubborn pockets of fat in the treated area
Because the fibre is so fine and the entry point so small, there's minimal trauma to the surrounding tissue — which is why recovery is so much faster than traditional surgical approaches.
Why Endolift
for the Abdomen?
The abdominal area is one of the most common places patients notice skin laxity, particularly after:
-
Significant weight loss
-
Pregnancy
-
Natural collagen decline with age
Traditional options have often meant a difficult choice: accept the laxity, or undergo a surgical abdominoplasty with its associated risks, scarring, and extended downtime. Endolift offers a middle path — a controlled, in-clinic treatment aimed at meaningfully improving skin tone and tightness for patients whose main concern is laxity rather than excess skin requiring surgical removal.
What to Expect
Consultation first. Not everyone is a suitable candidate. During your consultation, Dr. Nema examines your skin quality, the degree of laxity, your goals, and your medical history to determine whether Endolift — or an alternative approach — is right for you.
The procedure. Performed under local anaesthetic, typically taking around 45–60 minutes depending on the area treated.
Recovery. Most patients return to normal daily activities within a day or two, with some mild swelling or bruising possible at the tiny entry points.
Results. Initial tightening is often visible early on, with continued improvement over 2–3 months as new collagen forms. Optimal results are typically seen following a course of treatment, tailored to your skin and goals.
WHY EXPERIENCE MATTERS
Depth of practice, not
just device access
Endolift is operator-dependent: outcomes are shaped by fibre placement, energy settings, and judgement built up case by case. Since bringing Endolift to his practice in 2021, Dr. Nema has treated over 1,000 cases across the face and body, building a working understanding of how different skin types, ages, and areas respond.
Endolift Abdomen vs. Tummy Tuck
Loose or lax skin around the stomach can be treated two very different ways: a surgical tummy tuck, or Endolift, a minimally invasive laser treatment. Here's how they compare.
A tummy tuck physically removes excess skin and fat and can repair separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) — something no non-surgical option can do. That makes it the stronger choice for significant excess skin, but it comes with general anaesthetic, a permanent scar, and weeks of recovery.
Endolift tightens skin and debulks fat without cutting, stitches, or a visible scar, done under local anaesthetic with minimal downtime. It suits mild-to-moderate laxity well, but results build gradually and it won't correct muscle separation.
Neither is universally "better" — the right choice depends on how much excess skin you have and whether your muscles need repairing. An in-person assessment is the only way to know for sure.
Is Endolift Right
for You?
Endolift is best suited to patients with mild-to-moderate skin laxity who are already close to their target weight and shape. It is not a substitute for surgery in cases of significant excess skin, and it is not a weight-loss treatment. The right approach always starts with an honest, individualised assessment — not a one-size-fits-all recommendation.
